How Short Was The Climate Debate Last Night?

The first presidential debate was last night and while climate change was covered it was only discussed for roughly 10 minutes. That’s not a lot of time. To put it in perspective I’ve prepared a list of things that last/lasted longer than the debate on climate did:

  • Howard Schultz Presidential Run
  • The Mooch’s tenure as Press Secretary
  • Beto avoiding debate questions en español
  • hang-time of a Klobuchar binder flying at a staffer
  • Time Biden has spent campaigning to working class people
  • Sarah Palins’ attention span
  • Trump eating a McDonald’s “hamberder” at 3am on his golden toilet
  • Mike Pence’s failed attempts to see his reflection in a mirror
  • McConnell fully retracting into his shell
  • Trump reading his favorite bible verse “2 Corinthians”. Nobody knows more about Jesus and Jesus-like things than him, folks. He met Jesus, great guy.
  • A Fox News segment about how Obama is secretly two midgets in a trench coat and that’s why the economy will tank in 2022
  • How long it takes Mexico to write that check for the wall… any day now…
  • Time it takes for John Bolton to get off to the thought of illegally occupying another country.
  • A Trump cabinet pick
  • Melania reading a Michelle Obama speech and passing it off as her own
  • Time Duncan Hunter spends actually doing his job
  • Time it took me to write this

Let the DNC know that instead of wanting a “Boy Bye” wallpaper for your phone you want them to hold a climate debate.

That wallpaper was fire though.

*Apologize for typos I made this on a turbulent plane over Kansas*
